Hole by Hole Guide - The Back 9

Hole 10 - Par 4 - 241 yds - Ravine

Measured as a dog leg, a long iron from the tee will leave a wedge to the green. The green itself is raised and has a large drop off to the left handside. The more adventurous player may decide to cut the corner and play over the trees, however this is a large carry and there is much danger awaiting an offcentre strike.

Hole 11 - Par 4 - 263 yds - Last Climb

Hole 11 - Par 4 - 263 yds

An uphill par 4 with a raised green that is set in to the hillside. Often considered as a real birdie opportunity.

Hole 12 - Par 3 - 224 yds - Lighthouse

Hole 12 - Par 3 - 224 yds

Another long par 3 where not many find the green from the tee. O.B. runs alongthe left handside and often makes golfers play safe down the right hand side and hope to get up and down. A par 3 here is an excellent result.
Hole 13 - Par 3 - 186 yds - The Glebe

Hole 13 - Par 3 - 186 yds

An enjoyable down hill par 3 to a usually receptive green. There is two bunkers, one short right and the other at the right handside ofthe green. A hole that is there to be attacked from the tee however there is O.B. running down the left handside that comes into play in a cross wind.
Hole 14 - Par 3 - 210 yds - Margnaheglish

Hole 14 - Par 3 - 210 yds

A difficult downhill par 3 with a road and O.B. running down the left handside. An inviting bunker awaits a tee-shot slightly right of the green.
Hole 15 - Par 4 - 284 yds - The Quarry

Hole 15 - Par 4 - 284 yds

A short par 4 with a blind tee-shot. A well struck ball over the quarry should be in the vicinity of the green setting up a great chance for birdie.
Hole 16 - Par 3 - 98 yds - Wee Dunt

Hole 16 - Par 3 - 98 yds
The Wee Dunt, only 100yds long and an excellent opportunity to post a "magic 2" on the scorecard.

Hole 17 - Par 3 - 201 yds - Manse Road

Hole 17 - Par 3 - 201 yds

The last of the Par 3's and another long one. The 17th is slightly uphill and requires an accurate tee-shot. Anything right will catch a large Oak Tree and the pulled tee-shot will catch deep rough. A 3 can often feel like a birdie here.

Hole 18 - Par 4 - 293 yds - Twa Burns

Hole 18 - Par 4 - 293 yds

A delightful par 4 where the tee-shot must not be hit left. The 2nd shot involves playing uphill in between or over 2 large trees to a plateaued green. A tricky finish.
